Success Story: Time is your money

I was onsite with an oil and gas company when they asked for some help converting data from ProCount to Enertia as part of an acquisition. I knew this was going to be a challenging project since there was a lot of data to convert and a very tight timeline. However, I was determined to help the client and make this project a success.

Working closely with the small conversion team, we quickly put together a plan to convert their data points from production, land, revenue and accounting. I knew we needed to find a way to streamline the process to save time and ensure data quality. That's when I came up with the idea of coding small conversion routines that could automate much of the manual work.

As I worked on these routines, I collaborated with the client to make sure that their needs were being met. We tested the routines extensively to ensure they were accurate and efficient. I also worked with the client to ensure that the data was being converted in a way that made sense for their business and that they were comfortable with the final product.

In the end, we were able to convert all of the data on time and to the client's satisfaction. They were pleased with the quality of the data and were able to focus on their business needs rather than being bogged down by the conversion process. It was a great success and I was proud to be a part of it.
